The biggest risk is not taking one. Life begins where your comfort zone ends.
Life is like trying to live in a big box. You can bring many things into that big box. For example: faith, family, professions, possessions. But how about things that are outside your box – abstract things that can weigh heavy in people’s lives? Love, compassion, dreams, fears, ambitions. Often times the concrete things of life tend to hold people back from the abstract things of life. I have a surprise for you – all that remains when the concrete crumbles away is the abstract – the memories, experiences, love, compassion, and faith to press on.
So reader, where do you store your treasures of life? Inside the box or outside of it? I dare you to take the lid off your box and crawl out. Sound scary? Yes. It is. But not as scary as never taking chance at all. You only live once. What are you going to make of it?
Enjoy some of the experiences I have added here. May they inspire, encourage, minister, and lead you to dream. Just do me one favor – turn those dreams into reality so you have some abstract to share too. Then recycle that big cardboard box you used to live in.
Go Far,
Ryan Christman
